Bring your own picnic and join us for fun, games and bell ringing at Privett on July 22nd.
Ringing is from 5.00 to 6.30pm, games until 8.30pm
So far I have been promised the loan of Curling, Skittles and some football goals. I have Quoits and I’m planning on putting together a Tin Can Alley.
Please feel free to bring your own games if you want to, but if you could let me know beforehand what you’re bringing that would be great as I’m toying with the idea of some small trophies.
We have access to the hall from 4.30pm so if you want to drop anything off before ringing that’s fine. Or maybe some people would like to play games whilst others ring, that’s fine too.
Bring the family, bring your friends, bring raffle prizes ……….
Many thanks, Valerie
These photos were taken at Privett, Holy Trinity Church, on a Hexham Abbey Tower Outing. This tower is well worth including in your outing plans! An atmospheric, tenderly cared for, redundant church.

Apologies and names of new members should probably be sent to me.
We are still looking for a District Secretary !
At the very least we need someone who could take the minutes, type them up and email them out, but it would be great to find someone who could also do the pre-meeting preparation and get the certificates etc. ready for newly elected members. Anything else they would be prepared to do would be a bonus. Please, please give it some thought.
On Saturday 16th April from 5.30 to 7.30pm there is an Advanced Practice at Privett
(previously called Surprise Major Practice), covering ordinary and surprise methods
. To make it more beneficial for anyone learning a more advanced method, it is important that there are plenty of experienced ringers there too, so please come.
Many thanks, Valerie Harris
