An Exciting week planned in Alderney – First peal on new bells, long-length and a week of training

We have Reading ringers here for the first peal on Wells Bells (Oct 22nd) and they are staying on to watch/listen to the Long length on (Oct 25th).  We will be making it a real Ringing-Fest with a full schedule of quarters and focused practice sessions utilising all the good ringers to stretch us.

Wells Bells is the Channel Islands first purpose built ringing centre – please see http://alderneybells.com/the-bells/wells-bells/ for details

Opening Sept 5th

  1. Hello Helen, I notice that there is confusion in the entry in Dove to that given elsewhere in the W&P pages of the Guild Report and on this web site. I wonder which is correct as others maybe trying to finding your tower in Dove difficult.

I presume that the Beresford Campanile was moved to Jersey in 2013, but have no info on the Wells Bells.

Best of luck for the L.L. in October.
