Rung to mark the centenary of the death of John Rice, Grandfather of the tenor ringer. L/Cpl John Rice (22416) of 8th Battalion, East Surrey Regiment was Killed in Action, age 34, about 1 March 1917, somewhere in France. His name is inscribed on Pier and face 6B and 6C on the Thiepval Memorial.
