I recently came across John Harrison’s FREE downloadable book “Ringing Skills” and it is a real goldmine of advice, humour, and memorable quotes.
I particularly liked his ideas for exercises to do on a practice night when you are not ringing, and an in depth exploration of ropesight which was unlike any I have ever read. There is something for ringers at all stages of their careers, and plenty for teachers to pass on to learners too.
It is laid out in such a way that it is very readable on any screen size (indeed I read a lot of it in a doctor’s waiting room and it is MUCH more interesting than “Hello” magazine).
